...IS A REALLY COOL PERSON (AND A PRETTY DAMN GOOD PRODUCER)

Teen Vogue Summit

The Inaugural Teen Vogue Summit 2017 was a true labor of love. With basically less than two months to put together a two day event across the country, my team worked day and night to produce this magical event.

Day 1 was at TOMs Headquarters. 300 guests arrived, received a complimentary breakfast (with a cute juice bar!), and were welcomed by Editor In Chief, Elaine Welteroth. After the welcome notes, guests were brought onto charter buses based on which “Werk Immersion” they previously chosen online. At these immersions at companies like Instagram, Beautycounter, and Hulu, Summit attendees got to interact first hand with both employees and CEOs, and ask them all those need-to-know questions. After two of these sessions (the bus took them between the two), they came back to TOMs, where there was passed apps, a presentation of the 20 Under 20, and karaoke with the stars of Pitch Perfect 3!

Day 2 was stationed at 72+Sunny Creative Campus. This full day affair held two keynote speeches (Hello Hilary Clinton), and two different times to go to pre-registered breakout sessions (there were 10 options during both the AM and PM sessions each). Breakfast and lunch was provided to all guests, and 9 different sponsors had footprints on the main “boardwalk” area that connected the two different buildings that held breakout sessions, allowing for ample time to get in front of these ‘changemaker’s’!
